LAWN - Weed Control and
Fertilization: The best weed control in lawn areas is a thick, healthy, lush stand of turf. When turf is thick and growing vigorously, it will squeeze out many of the common weeds that are persistent in lessor lawns. The use of herbicide is needed for the more competitive weeds such as Clover, Spurge, Oxalis, and several others that are seen in the Pacific Northwest. The correct use and application of high quality balanced fertilizer and selected specialty herbicide materials will yield that showpiece lawn that is most desirable. (See Organic Products option also.)
TREE & SHRUB - Insect and Disease Control: Healthy vigorous plants that receive correct water will be the most resistant to insect invaders and disease problems. However, at times any given landscape will have insect and disease problems. The correct and expert application of specific insecticides and fungicides at specific times will pro actively maintain the overall health of the various plant materials in any given landscape.
SHRUB BED - Weed Control: The use of
specific pre emergent herbicides will control even the most hard to control
and persistent weeds before they ever even emerge as a nuisance in the shrub
bed area. When done correctly, these materials can be used over or in the very
extreme proximity of even the most delicate ornamental. A very time- and
frustration-saving procedure.
PEST CONTROL - Interior & Exterior: Pests being either mammal or insect can be dangerous to the dwelling or the people within. At certain times of the year pest problems are more severe than others, usually in times of great swings in temperature. These pests are indigenous to our environment but do not belong in our homes or businesses. Venomous insects are of particular danger. All of these invaders may be managed with the precise use of very specific materials designed to be excellent at controlling the target pest while being very safe for humans to be around.
NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL: Noxoius weeds are typically much more competitive and invasive than most weeds. For the most part these weeds are not native to the area. They can be harmful or deadly to animals (cattle) and can cause the destruction of valuable land and waterways. These weeds also dry or "harden" in the mid to late summer, casting seed for future and exponentially worse problems as well as becoming a fire hazard. A very serious concern in the inland northwest as well as all of the U.S. Noxious weeds need to be controlled in the early spring when they are in the "rosette" stage of development, long before they could bloom and set seed.
DEEP ROOT FEEDING: This is a method of
delivering specific fertilizer with micro nutrient and trace elements to various
plantings around the home or business. The material is injected under the soil
around the base of the plant. The fertilizer is slow release in its makeup and
lasts over the entire season of growth. This increases plant health and vigor thus
boosting insect and disease resistance.
CORE AERATION: This is a mechanical operation that removes small plugs from the lawn thus allowing the root base to "stretch" out and relax..This procedure also allows better airflow and moisture as well as fertilizer reception to the root zone. Aeration really helps dry, stressed lawns and lawns with problem areas that seem to brown rapidly as the weather heats up.
